The new DA hike will be implemented from 1 July 2022. Employees will also get arrears of difference in July and August. At present, DA is being increased by 34 percent to the Central Government employees. After the increase, DA will be 38 percent, on a basic salary of Rs 18,000, the annual DA will be Rs 8640.

5. Annual increase in DA – 2276 X12 = Rs 27,312
7th Pay Commission numbers are issued by the Ministry of Labor and Employment on the last working day of the month. The AICPI index numbers are based on data collected from 88 industrial centers across the country.
