About SSC Multitasking Paper 1 & Paper 2 Exam:
All the qualified candidates will be called for SSC MTS Exam. Paper 1 and Paper 2 exam will be written type. The exam will be divided into two papers. SSC MTS Paper 1 will be objective type and SSC MTS Paper-II will be conventional type.
The total time duration for SSC MTS Paper-I is 1.5 hours (90 minutes) and 2 hours (120 minutes) for visually handicapped candidates. There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in SSC MTS exam.

SSC MTS Exam Syllabus will be as follows :-
General Intelligence & Reasoning- But the questions will be non-verbal considering the functions attached to the post. Questions on Numerical Aptitude and General English will be easy, questions on General Awareness will also be of similar standard.
General Intelligence: It will consist of non-verbal type questions.
English Language: The understanding of the candidates, their writing ability will be tested regarding the basics of English language, its vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure, synonyms, antonyms and its correct usage etc.
Numerical Aptitude: This paper will include question on number system, computation of whole numbers, computation of decimals and fractions and relationship between numbers, fundamental arithmetical operations, percentage, ratio and proportion, profit, interest, profit and loss, discount, use. Tables and Graphs, Mensuration, Time and Distance, Ratio and Time, Time and Work, etc.
general awareness: The questions will be designed to test the candidate’s ability of general awareness of the environment around him and its application to society.
The questions will be designed to test such knowledge of current events and of such matters of everyday observation and experience in their scientific aspects as may be expected of an educated person.
The test will also include questions related to India and its neighboring countries, especially related to sports, history, culture, geography, economic scenario, general polity including Indian constitution and scientific research etc.
