Postal Department Uttar Pradesh Recruitment 2023 Educational Qualification:
Applicant must be 10th pass. In 10th, the applicant must have Mathematics and English subject. Apart from this, the applicant should also have studied the local language in tenth standard. Applicant must have knowledge of local language. In the Uttar Pradesh circle, the local language Hindi has been considered.

Uttar Pradesh Post Office Recruitment Selection Process
Cycling is essential condition for all GDS posts. In case the candidate has knowledge of riding a scooter or a motor cycle, that may be treated as knowledge of cycling. The candidate will have to submit a declaration to this effect.
Selection will be based on 10th marks. No weightage will be given to Higher Education marks. Merit list will be prepared on the basis of 10th marks only. If any two applicants have the same marks then the applicant who is older will be given preference.

OC / OBC / EWS Male applicant should pay a fee of Rs.100/-. 100/- (Rupees one hundred) for each set of five options. Candidates who have to make the payment have to visit any Head Post Office or other identified Post Offices in India. The names of the offices are available on the website http://appost.in/gdsonline.
However, payment of fee is exempted for all women candidates as well as PwD candidates. They can apply online through the direct link provided in the website.
Applicant can also pay the fee through online payment by using the URL given in the home page. All recognized Credit / Debit cards and Net Banking facility can be availed for this purpose. Charges will be levied for use of Debit/Credit Card and Net Banking as per rules from time to time.
